Scripture

All Scripture is the inspired word of God without error in all that it affirms, and is the only infallible rule of faith and practice. It is fully authoritative and trustworthy, fully sufficient for all believers now and always, and useful for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness.

Scripture holds the authority of God Himself, and is therefore the final and only authority on all matters of morality, doctrine, and practice.

God

We believe in one eternal, omnipresent, unchanging, personal God. Perfect in holiness, wisdom, love, power, and justice without preceding cause or beginning. He is creator and preserver of things visable or unseen.

He exists as one divine being and yet as a trinity of three distinct persons. Identical, inseperable, and equal in divinity, power, and eternity.

He alone is worthy of worship, honor, praise, and thanksgiving, now and forevermore.

Jesus Christ

The Word, Who was with God and was God, is the only begotten Son of God. Concieved by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary and is the exact image of the nature of the Invisible God.

He lived and suffered in the world to show the Way of Life.

He was crucified and died as the only perfect and complete atonement for the sins of the whole world, making the only provision whereby people can find forgiveness of sin and cleansing from all unrighteousness.

He rose on the third day for our justification.

He ascended into Heaven, sits at the right hand of the father, ever living as our mediator and High Priest, making intercession for us.

He is returning again. Receiving His Church unto Himself, and judging the whole world in righteousness.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is a divine person, and though distinct from the Father and Son, proceeds from both and is equal in authority, power, glory, and titles.

He is the divine agent in conviction of sin, regeneration, sanctification, and the assurance of believers.

He indwells in every believer and is Teacher, Guide, and Counselor. He purifies the heart of the believer, and imparts at His choosing, spiritual gifts to be used in the service and building up of the Body of Christ.

He produces in believers the fruit of the Spirit so that they may be conformed into the image of the Son.

The Church

The Church is made up of all those from the apostles until now, both the living and the dead, who through response to God's gracious offer of salvation by repentance of their sins, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior have been born again as new creatures in Christ.

The Church is spiritual in nature, universal in scope, holy in character, and redemptive in life and purpose.

The purpose of the Church is to make disciples of all nations.
